Gabriel Martinez Testimony

My name is Gabriel Martinez and this is my testimony.

It has been a little over 2 months since I arrived here at Steelbridge, it was not my idea to come here. In fact, I had never heard of Steelbridge until my family decided to have a meeting with me and they mentioned it. At first, I was angry thinking “who do they think they are telling me I have a problem?!” As far as I was concerned, everything was just fine. But it wasn’t.

I was drinking every day and had no intention of quitting. I worked hard running my own business so I played hard too. Today I can say I am glad that I am here. If not, I probably would have drank myself to death. Steelbridge and its great people have helped gain insight into my addiction and through faith and hope and the love of my family I truly believe that I will never drink again. I have been there and I have done that and I know the consequences of my actions can be fatal.

I close with this message. Each and every one of us matters and our lives are precious. Never forget that and always remember the ones that love you. Especially God and Jesus. They will never give up on us and neither should we. Thank you!
