Jimmy Niccum Testimony
I have been at Steelbridge for 4 months. I am a former Carnie, started off here in Albuquerque then worked my way to where I was traveling coast to coast going to fairgrounds all over the nation. I got addicted to doing meth and eventually became homeless here in Albuquerque New Mexico.
Gabriel Martinez Testimony
It has been a little over 2 months since I arrived here at Steelbridge, it was not my idea to come here. In fact, I had never heard of Steelbridge until my family decided to have a meeting with me and they mentioned it. At first, I was angry thinking “who do they think they are telling me I have a problem?!” As far as I was concerned, everything was just fine. But it wasn’t
Volunteer Spotlight: Jan
Our volunteer of the quarter is Jan Mckeever! Jan has been such an asset and benefit to our ministry at Steelbridge. Jan has been helping in our administration building to help make our operations even more successful. Jan answers the phones, greets new residents coming into the program, works directly with the executive assistant of Steelbridge, watches the grounds on camera, takes messages, and sorts mail just to name a few of the responsibilities she performs.

Coming Home by Garron
“My journey to Steelbridge was down a long hard road. I was living on the streets of Albuquerque. I was a pagan addicted to fentanyl, heroin, and alcohol. One night, I was wandering the streets looking for somewhere safe to sleep. I was checking car doors, car lots, and sheds. Praying that I could find a place to sleep to any “higher power” that would listen. I eventually came across a shed in an industrial part of town that by some miracle had a broken latch and electricity”…Read more of Garron’s Story by visiting our blog.
Crooked sticks can draw straight lines by Alisha
My testimony is not about who I was or where I've been but instead, it’s about who I am presently, and where God is taking me. As I sit here writing this, I am amazed as I look back over the past 6 months. It required tons of hard work. I had to surrender: let go, give in and give up my will and my way. In this place, I have gained joy and peace that surpasses all understanding, even my own. I now have an identity and a mind that is being renewed daily.
I have many blessing by Joseph
I would recommend Steelbridge if you or someone you know needs help; that you come by here or bring that someone you know through Steelbridge to meet the great group of guys here. Who, as the Lord, are all responsible for the many blessings that I have received thus far.
A Bridge Over Troubled Waters by Anthony
I remember taking a trip with my mom and dad to my cousin's wedding in Pismo Beach, California. I was in the 9th grade and active in football and basketball. No drugs or alcohol had ever entered my body and I was an honor roll student. We stopped on a bridge somewhere along the way and took a picture. A picture of the three of us on a bridge. It was on a steel bridge. It’s a great memory of the best time of my life….
Chris's Testimony
Hi, my name is Chris, and I am a strong believer in Christ who saved me from my addictions of lust and meth.
Troy's Testimony
Being at Steelbridge I have grown closer to God, have a source of income, and am talking to my son and daughter more. It feels good to have accomplished so much while I’ve been here. I am a current graduate of the program here at SteelBridge and want to encourage others by saying; life has its ups and downs, so never give up or lose faith. I was able to meet one of my biggest goals and that was to be a better father to my children.

Meet a Resident: Michelle
Michelle grew up in New Orleans, Louisianna, and like many kids, had a very normal childhood, surrounded by family and friends that loved her deeply. She grew up in the church and knew and trusted in Jesus from a young age.
But when her mother passed away when Michelle was just 17, and then two years later just two days after her 19th birthday, when her father passed away, Michelle was broken. And the only one she could find to blame was God.
