The Word Became Flesh: Transforming Lives!

This Christmas, we celebrate the profound truth: “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).

At Steelbridge Ministries, we see the power of God’s Word transforming lives daily in our recovery programs.

One participant shared: “For the first time, I see myself as God sees me. His Word has changed everything—my hope, my choices, and my future.”

As we celebrate 70 years of ministry, your support makes it possible for men and women to discover:

  • Hope and healing through Scripture.

  • Christ-centered community and accountability.

  • Freedom from addiction and tools for a brighter future.

Your Christmas gift provides Bibles, spiritual guidance, and life-changing Christ-centered recovery services.

Every dollar helps share the greatest gift of all: the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

Give a gift of $70 or more by December 31st to qualify for our annual 16 Days of Giving prize drawings!

Thank you for partnering with us to transform lives—today and for eternity.

Wishing you a Christmas filled with His love, peace, and joy.

Hope begins with a meal…& can end with a solution

STEELBRIDGE is not a soup kitchen, nor is it a homeless shelter. It’s a Transformation Center. Help us make a difference by donating today.

Did you know? Albuquerque Rescue Mission, now known as Steelbridge, traces its roots back to 1954 when it was originally founded as Albuquerque Gospel Mission. Arthur Fleischer and his wife, inspired by their experiences at the Pacific Garden Mission in Chicago, moved to Albuquerque to start this mission of compassion. The original site on First Street provided shelter, food, clothing, and ministry to those in need.

Thanks to your support we have been able to…

  • Over 365,000 meals were served to men, women, and children in the Albuquerque community

  • Clothing to over 2,500 people in need

  • For nearly 70 years, Steelbridge (formerly known as Albuquerque Rescue Mission) has been instrumental in breaking the cycle of homelessness in Albuquerque. By providing safe shelter, addiction recovery programs, and job training, Steelbridge helps individuals rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society as productive, self-sufficient members. Our faith-based, 12-month free recovery program has an average 90% success rate for those who complete it, transforming lives and enhancing the safety and well-being of our entire community. Join us in our journey to help those in need and create lasting change.
